    Responsibilities

    As the Marketing Associate at Veson Nautical, you will play a foundational role in the growth and success of our business by driving top-of-funnel activities and tactically supporting the commercial team.

    The Marketing Associate position is a fantastic opportunity within a growing team for someone who is excited by the idea of making a material impact within a thriving market-leading organization with a global reach. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Associate will:

    • Assist with all core marketing activities, including but not limited to lead generation, content creation, product/company positioning, and market research
    • Assist the commercial team with RFP responses and proposals
    • Manage and execute all aspects of our twice-yearly global user conferences and coordinate our participation in various industry events
    • Explore and implement digital marketing best practices to facilitate departmental scalability and efficiency

     

    Qualifications

    • 3+ years’ experience in a B2B marketing role
    • Demonstrated success in planning and executing high-quality events
    • Knowledge of best practices for inbound marketing, SEM, PPC, display advertising, social media advertising, and email marketing
    • Excellent writing skills and a defensible opinion on the Oxford comma
    • Experience reviewing contracts and/or managing RFP responses desirable
    • Design skills a plus
    • Strong proficiency in systems and tools, including but not limited to: Microsoft Office, CMS (Wordpress, Drupal), CRM (Salesforce preferred), Marketing Automation Tools, Constant Contact (or similar), Google Analytics, and AdWords
    • Exceptional organizational skills; ability to successfully manage and navigate multiple projects, and exacting attention to detail
    • Pro-active “can do” demeanor – takes initiative on tasks both strategic and routine with a sense of urgency
    • Reliability, professionalism, and polish
    • Team player and relentless learner
    • Bachelor’s degree required; degree in marketing, economics, business, or related preferred
