    Responsibilities

    You’ll work as an equal partner with developers and product managers, focusing on Veson Nautical's Veslink IMOS Platform. As part of the team, you'll be empowered to use a variety of techniques to create and execute powerful tests that solve a broad spectrum of issues. Veson Nautical currently uses Python or C# to write tools and tests, but QA team members are also encouraged to explore and implement the best tools for the job.

    Qualifications

    Requirements

    We are currently seeking candidates at all levels of experience, who:

    • At least 2.5 months of availability
    • Basic familiarity with object oriented programming languages (C#, Java, or comparable) 
    • Familiarity with a scripting language a plus (Python, Perl, Ruby, etc.) 
    • Relational database knowledge (SQL Server) 
    • Experience with Selenium framework is a plus
    • Strong written and oral communication skills 
    • Desire to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting 
    • Excellent grades 
    • Ability to troubleshoot complex problems 
    • Proactive, positive approach to work 
    • Reliability and diligence
