    Responsibilities

    As a Veson Nautical Professional Services Coordinator, you will play a key operational role in ensuring the efficiency and profitability of the Professional Services team at a vibrant software company. Reporting to the Vice President, Professional Services, you will help drive and ensure that internal pre-sales, project, client support, client billing, and reporting processes and procedures are followed and run smoothly.  You will support the team by administering and monitoring Salesforce and Kimble applications and following up with consultants to ensure accurate and on-time reporting of projections, time tracking, project status and expenses. You will frequently collaborate cross functionally with colleagues in Finance, Sales, Professional Services and Technical Solutions to coordinate the completion of tasks such as Requests for Proposal, write management reports, and assist with internal and external documentation.

    Qualifications

    • Proven ability to organize, track and interpret information from varied sources
    • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail and concern for clarity
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Self-confident and assertive personality; able to influence without position power
    • Knack for juggling multiple projects simultaneously
    • Ability to effectively prioritize work independently and efficiently
    • Proactive, positive approach to work and polished demeanor
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
    • Basic financial acumen
    • Maritime experience a plus
    • Salesforce, Kimble, Mavenlink experience a plus
    • Microsoft Power BI experience a plus
    • Bachelor’s degree
