    Responsibilities

    As a Veson Nautical Professional Services Analyst, you will responsible for driving strategic and tactical day-to-day operations of the professional services organization including key performance metrics around services delivery. The successful candidate will have an ability to synthesize data from different sources, to develop and streamline key business processes, function in an international team and drive performance improvements.

     

    Reporting to the VP of Global Services, in this role of Professional Services Operations Analyst you will help develop and manage lifecycle processes for the post-sales service delivery, from Sales hand-off to services delivery by professional services. You will develop key performance metrics around services delivery and develop feedback processes aimed at driving quality and making constant improvements. You will be responsible for centralizing PS Operations globally and building a Services Delivery Center of Excellence to help maintain and create repeatable methodologies for how we deliver professional services.

    Qualifications

     

    • Manage day-to-day operation of professional services automation and project management software (Mavenlink).
    • Manage/develop lifecycle processes for the post-sales service delivery methodology.
    • Enforce adherence and quality to full lifecycle processes pertaining to services delivery methodology.
    • Manage/develop and coordinate, feedback processes aimed at driving quality, efficiency, and effectiveness improvements to workflows within the Professional Services group and with other departments.
    • Work with Regional Directors and Project Managers to Create, track and report team resourcing including scheduling and utilization.
    • Work with Project Managers to Create, track and report project status including profitability with analytics sliced by Project, PM, Region, Global, etc.
    • Liaise with project managers, consultants, billing and finance organizations regarding revenue billings, projects analysis, and expenses.
    • Develop/manage and analyze key performance metrics around services delivery.
    • Forecasting, reporting, dash boarding of key performance metrics around services delivery.
    • Help create Executive and Board summaries for month and quarter end reports.
    • Manage Sales hand-off to services.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Skills & Requirements:

    • BA/BS degree in a related field or equivalent experience and min of 2-5 years or related experience in a professional services or consulting environment
    • Strong knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, professional services automation, and project management software preferred (Salesforce, Mavenlink)
    • Understanding of project management and project delivery processes
    • Understanding of project financials, GAAP revenue recognition, invoicing and billing process.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work with employees at all levels within the organization.
    • Highly organized with attention to detail.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
    • Ability to confront issues proactively with management.
